ABOUT Bar George Sarasota

Bar George will open next to Georgie’s Garden Cafe, which are both owned and operated by the same family. Georgie’s is based on their popular Naples high-end brunch spot, Jane’s Garden Cafe. Their goal was to bring University Town Center an upscale daytime culinary experience along with upbeat nightlife fun.

The Cafe will have a contemporary, upscale casual setting with a menu featuring both classic and innovative breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes. It will feature a variety of vegan and gluten-free options as well as specialty coffee drinks and craft cocktails.

Bar George will be open Wednesday through Sunday with live music to cater to different age groups depending on days and/or times. It will be open until midnight Wednesday, Thursdays, and Sundays. On Fridays and Saturdays they will stay open until 1 a.m.

Jane’s, Georgies, and Bar George are owned and operated by George Wood and his father, Tony Wood.
